Eugene Roxas Domingo or simply Eugene Domingo is a 48-year-old film and stage actress, comedienne, and host. She has performed in lead and supporting roles and in various genres of the Philippine film industry. She is popularly known as the “Comedy Star for All Seasons” and was a side-kick of the Philippines’ “Comedy Concert Queen”, Ai-Ai delas Alas, in the Ang Tanging Ina series (in the year 2003 to 2010, until she was launched on her very first lead film role in Kimmy Dora in 2009 which eventually got a sequel in 2012.
It was in the year 2010 when the famous comedienne decided to push through the renovation of her 60 square meter condominium. She has two adorable Shih Tzus living with her in her home. She asked help from the former Creative Director of the “Real Living Magazine” Gwyn Guanzon. The actress-comedienne transferred on the same building until her unit was still undergoing a renovation.
She had revealed that she used some of her acting stunts so that the workers will double their time finishing her home. When the renovation was done, Eugene was very happy and contented on her beautiful home even though she only has her two Shih Tzus with her, she still feels home as she arrives in her condo unit.
The living area is a combination of modern and vintage concept. There is a modern cowhide rug anchor, wooden daybed, and a traditional chair. Eugene requested the floor to be slightly coarse. She even hilariously quipped that she had already forgotten the name of the wood used on her daybed but she is very sure that it is not a “dos por dos” kind of wood. Sliding doors served as a division in the kitchen and the living area. There is also a photo of “Shakespeare”, the actress’ Golden Retriever who passed away.
In the dining area, a “Vito Selma” dining table complements the beauty of the home. The chandelier was designed by Gwyn which is made out of bonsai branches and was painted black, silver, and white. It also has a huge mirror with dash glam that complements its earthy vibe.
